Serbian tennis sensation, Novak Djokovic, recently shared a moment with former MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov during his off-season training in Dubai. Djokovic, who commenced his training in Marbella before arriving in Dubai, is currently engaged in rigorous practice sessions at the Atlantis The Royal Hotel.
Accompanied by his coach, Goran Ivanišević, Djokovic visited the NAS Sports Complex on December 21, where they had the opportunity to meet and exchange insights with elite MMA athletes.
Khabib Nurmagomedov, a retired MMA legend, posted a photo on social media alongside the 24-time Grand Slam champion, referring to Djokovic as the “GOAT” (Greatest Of All Time). The Russian fighter retired in 2021 with an undefeated record of 29 wins in the UFC lightweight division.
Djokovic, gearing up for an exhibition match against Carlos Alcaraz in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 27, views this event as crucial preparation for the 2024 Australian Open. The exhibition will also feature World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka facing off against Ons Jabeur on December 26, promising an exciting spectacle for Montenegro tennis enthusiasts.
